SYP/Sonora School of Sewing & Apparel Construction offers this website that includes information, products and services available to you, the user, conditioned with your acceptance of all Terms and Conditions. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully as we update our information periodically.

COVID-19 PROTOCOLS –
Sonora School of Sewing and Apparel Construction follows all current COVID-19 Protocols; whether they be regional, statewide, or nationwide.

DEFINITIONS

CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION – Information provided by user, either verbally, through
email or domain.

CONTRACT – Legally Binding Agreement – between User/Purchaser and SYP/Sonora School of Sewing & Apparel Construction, info@sonoraschoolofsewing.com, https://sonoraschoolofsewing.com and any other venue, such as 3rd party social media of the company.

COURSE MATERIALS – Information, Products and Services, provided by or purchased from SYP/Sonora School of Sewing & Apparel Construction.

FEES – Fees paid by the Purchaser to SYP/Sonora School of Sewing & Apparel Construction, for Products and Services.

GOODS – Products and Services for purchase.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS – SYP/Sonora School of Sewing & Apparel retains the Intellectual property rights; which includes, copyrights, rights to databases, trademarks, and rights pertaining to confidential information and other intellectual property rights (registered or registered.)

ORDER – Request to purchase Products and Services, including intellectual information, class information or physical items; such as, cloth, haberdashery, and patterns. Products and Services may be purchased through our website, in person, or via email or telephone.

PURCHASER – A person or organization buying Products and Services from SYP/Sonora School of Sewing & Apparel Construction.

SELLER – SYP/Sonora School of Sewing & Apparel Construction selling Products and Services, purchased through the Website, in person, online, or telephone. The Domain Website provides an E-Commerce Site, featuring the sales and distribution of sewing notions, patterns and classes.

USER – Individual or Corporation using our Website https://www.sonoraschoolofsewing.com

ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS – Visiting https://www.sonoraschoolofsewing.com or sending emails to info@sonoraschoolofsewing.com/sonoraschoolofsewing@gmail.com, constitutes electronic communications. You consent to receive electronic communications and you agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically, via email and on the Site, satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

DATA

• Sonora School of Sewing will not abuse your data and only collects and stores information about User that is needed to provide basic service and account functionality. Users are internally identified through the use of provided email addresses that are kept hidden from other Site Users. You are also asked to provide your name and phone number so that your purchases may be linked to your User account. Your name, phone number and email address will never be revealed to other Users or displayed publicly on our domains.

• Third Party Services -SYP/Sonora School of Sewing & Apparel Construction may utilize the services of 3rd parties to assist with Site operation and features or to electronically mail customers with occasional newsletters or other relevant information pertaining to Site, products or customer service. You must use your own discretion on any 3rd party services.

• These 3rd parties were selected by Sonora School of Sewing in part due to their good reputation with customer information protection and assurance of satisfactory measures to ensure secure data storage and information integrity.

• When you purchase any services or goods from SYP/Sonora School of Sewing & Apparel Construction your basic billing information (address, name, email) will also be stored with your account as both a convenience to you, and as a way for SYP/Sonora School of Sewing & Apparel Construction to identify its sales and customers. Credit card details are not stored or retained by Sonora School of Sewing in any way.

CLASSES

• CLASS MINIMUMS
Please note that we require a minimum amount of student participation to offer each class. You will be contacted a week prior to class beginning to state whether the class will be moving forward or canceled. Should the class be canceled, due to low enrollment, you will be notified a week in advance and will be offered the option to attend another class, offered a student credit, or a refund.

• ATTENDANCE If a student is unable to attend a class, please provide up to 5 day’s notice and where feasible, we will place students in another class offered in the same 6 week session. Please note that once our classes meet maximum capacity, this option will not be available. During makeup classes, the teacher will be instructing a scheduled class and attention may be limited. Should placement in another class be unfeasible, students may schedule a private lesson ($70 an hour), or attend a scheduled drop in class ($45 per class).

• COVID-19 UPDATE In effort to limit mixing cohorts, SYP/Sonora School of Sewing & ApparelConstruction willnotbeallowingclassestobemadeupatthistime.Ifastudent is unable to attend or is feeling unwell, SYP/Sonora School of Sewing & Apparel Construction will document any absences and will apply any missed instruction as a student credit. Should the student wish to make-up their missed instruction sooner than their credit allows for group lessons, Private Lesson will be available for $65 per hour.

• CLASS MATERIALS – Select classes include up to 3 yards of fabric priced under $15.00 per yard for projects and use of equipment at the school. Some classes may require the purchase of additional sewing notions and yardage by the participant. Such items will depend on notions and yardage needed for the desired project. Participants may choose to bring their own fabric and sewing pattern should those items be approved by the instructor beforehand. A limited amount of fabric and patterns will be offered by the school. The school will provide an adequate number of machines and associated tools at no additional cost to each student. A student may choose to bring their own machine provided there is an instructional manual. The Sewing School holds no liability for personal equipment.

• REFUNDS & CREDITS
Should class be canceled due to a SYP/Sonora School of Sewing & Apparel Construction concern, we will endeavor to notify all students. Any cancellation on behalf of the school will be credited towards a future class or refunded where feasible. If students have signed up to attend a class and are unable to make the full class, we ask that cancellations be made no later than one week before the start date for a full refund or credit toward the school. For cancellations made less than one week before the class begins, a credit will be applied. We are unable to offer refunds on an individual class basis.

CHILDREN UNDER EIGHTEEN – SYP/Sonora School of Sewing & Apparel Construction does not knowingly collect, either online or offline, personal information from persons under the age of eighteen. If you are under 18, you may use https://www.sonoraschoolofsewing.com only with permission of a parent or guardian.

PRODUCTS AND SERVICES – A description of the Products and Services are detailed on our website. We provide responsible care and skill in accordance to provide accuracy in the descriptions and images of each product. We cannot guarantee the exactness of a product’s color or texture due to the uniqueness of each computer monitor.
SYP/Sonora School of Sewing & Apparel Construction is not responsible for fading or shrinkage of fabric after the purchase/transaction/delivery has become complete. All purchases are subject to availability. If we are out of stock or cannot meet the delivery deadline, we will refund the original form of payment.

ORDERING PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
• Purchasing Products and Services via our Website, in person, email, or over the
telephone. Purchasing through the Website, you will be required to register and create an account. Should you already have an account, you can log into your existing account. It is the Purchaser’s responsibility to keep their username and password confidential. Please contact us promptly if you believe an unauthorized person is using your account.

• Physical products, such as: fabric, haberdashery, or tools are sold As-Is and As Available.

PAYMENTS – Payments for classes are due at the time of purchase. Payments may be made through the website, in-person or via telephone prior to the first day of class. Payments for all other products and services are processed at the time of purchase. USD in the form of Cash, Check, VISA, Mastercard, American Express, or Sonora School of Sewing Gift Certificate are accepted forms of payment.

RECEIPTS – Whether a Product or Service is purchased through the Website, in person, email, or via telephone, all receipts will be provided through email. In person purchases also have the option of a text receipt. Purchases made through the Website, will receive a confirmation/receipt of the purchase. A purchase is a legal binding agreement or contract.

RETURN POLICY – All sales are final in regard to Fabric, Haberdashery & Patterns. Should there be an issue with a product’s quality, contact Sonora School of Sewing & Apparel Construction in writing. Sonora School of Sewing & Apparel will endeavor to correct any issues that have a defect.

GIFT CERTIFICATES – May be purchased in person, via the Website, or over the telephone. Gift Certificates do not expire and can be used to purchase Products and Services.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY – Products are shipped within the United States. Our goal is to ship products as quickly as possible. The Price for Products and Services does not include shipping or delivery. Our shipping and delivery prices are advertised in the checkout process, prior to confirming your order.

FORCE MAJEURE – We are not responsible for an event outside the control of Sonora School of Sewing & Apparel Construction. Any act or event beyond our control such as: weather, natural disaster (Act of God), power or telecommunications outages, wildfire, illness, acts of others, etc. Should a Force Majeure event occur, we will contact you as soon as possible.

LIABILITY DISCLAIMER
THE INFORMATION, SOFTWARE, PRODUCTS, AND SERVICES INCLUDED THROUGHOUT THIS SITE MAY INCLUDE INACCURACIES OR TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS. CHANGES ARE PERIODICALLY ADDED TO THE INFORMATION HEREIN. SYP/SONORA SCHOOL OF SEWING & APPAREL CONSTRUCTION, AND/OR ITS SUPPLIERS MAY MAKE IMPROVEMENTS AND/OR CHANGES TO THE SITE AT ANY TIME.
