Children’s Sewing Ornament Workshop
Includes materials. 1 day workshop. Ages 6 & up.
Friday | December 11 | 3:30pm – 5:30pm
Students will learn how to construct a cloth ornament by hand. Instruction covers pinning, hand sewing, and ornament construction.
Skill Level: Beginner

Wednesday | December 4 | 3:30pm – 5:30pm
Students will learn how to construct a festive stocking by machine. Instruction covers basic machine operation, pinning, sewing, and constructing a lined stocking.

Friday | October 16 & 23 | 3:30pm – 5:30pm
Students will learn how to construct a stuffed Bear by machine. Instruction covers basic machine operation, pinning, sewing and stuffed animal construction.
Skill Level: Intermediate

Friday | September 4 & 11 | 3:30pm – 5:30pm
Students will learn how to construct a fabric elephant by machine. Instruction covers basic machine operation, pinning, sewing, stuffed animal construction, hand sewing buttons and hand sewing a slip stitch.

Once registered for a class, cancellation must be completed seven days prior to the first day of class for a full reimbursement or student credit. Refunds will not be given if less than 7 days notice is given. Please call us at 209-591-9404 for all cancellations.
Please note that we require a minimum amount of student participation to offer each class. You will be contacted a week prior to class beginning to state whether the class will be moving forward or canceled. Should the class be canceled due to low enrollment, you will be notified a week in advance and will be offered the option to attend another class, offered a student credit, or a refund.

machine operation, pinning, sewing and stuffed animal construction.

Stuffed Shorebird Sewing Workshop
Includes materials. 2 day workshop. Age 6 & up.
Friday | August 7 & 14 | 10:00am – 12:00pm
Students will learn how to construct a stuffed sandpiper shorebird by machine. Instruction covers basic machine operation, pinning, sewing and stuffed animal construction.
Skill Level: Intermediate

Private Lessons are $65 per hour. Enter number of desired hours in the quantity section above.
Private lessons are one-on-one lessons with the instructor. Instruction is tailored to suit to individual students project goals. Private lessons are offered as in-person, or Online classes.

Semi-private sewing lessons are $45 per person, per hour. Enter the number of desired hours in the quantity section.
Students must arrange who to share their semi-private lesson with, and that person must also book the desired number of hours.
Semi private lessons are a two-to-one ratio with the instructor. Instruction is tailored to suit individual students project goals.

Youth Beginner Intermediate Sewing
Includes most materials. 6 week course. Ages 10 & up.
Students will learn the basics of machine operation, essential sewing techniques and garment construction. Instruction will cover how to sew plain, french and welt seams, how to sew tapered and fisheye darts, and how to set a lapped zipper. Using a commercial pattern, students will learn how to complete a simple project provided by the school. Intermediate instruction may cover zippers, buttonholes, yokes, facings, bias techniques, collars, cuffs, pockets, and tailoring to fit. Students will construct a project of their choice
based on skill level.
