Monday | September 8 – November 10 (Excluding 10/13) | 6:30pm – 8:30pm
Students will learn the key components to designing a capsule clothing collection. Instruction will cover fashion terminology, figure drawing and collection development. Students will learn how to select a target market, create a mood board and develop a color story. In-depth instruction will cover color theory, figure drawing, sketching garments, and fabric rendering using markers and watercolors. Students will complete a 3 – 5 look capsule portfolio. Students are encouraged to bring their designs into fruition by attending our weekly sewing classes to construct their capsule collections.

$280.00Students will learn to draft a custom-fit basic bodice sloper; a foundation used to create endless bodice styles. Instruction includes: measuring the body, drafting a pattern based on measurements, truing the pattern, and constructing a mock-up.
