    Using the basic bodice sloper, instruction will cover how to incorporate dart manipulation, style lines, added fullness, yokes and pleat tucks to transform the basic bodice.

    Students will learn to draft a custom-fit basic bodice sloper; a foundation used to create endless bodice styles. Instruction includes: measuring the body, drafting a pattern based on measurements, truing the pattern, and constructing a mock-up.

    Saturday & Sunday, January 17 & 18, 9:00am – 5:00pm (1 hr lunch break)

    Instruction will cover how to properly measure for pants. Using a commercial pattern, students will learn how to create pattern modifications specific to their measurements, layout, cut, assemble a mock-up and do a fitting. Students are asked to bring in a commercial pant pattern to modify.
    Skill level: Intermediate. Basic math skills required.
